Alaska Tidbit of the Day: Before I started researching the Fairbanks area a year ago, I thought it existed in a treeless tundra, or, that if there were trees, they were entirely evergreens. But there are quite a few deciduous trees here, though virtually all are aspen and birch. There is a tree near my apartment that is already changing colour. Im looking forward to an early autumn here, because its my favourite time of year.
