Alastrina did not answer a text remi had sent her earlier in the day she was avoiding him. Today was the day that James was taking her to meet some of the others. Some of them James has said were fifty plus years old. She had told remi she was not going to go but what would it hurt just to see what it was all about. The thought of killing another being was not what she wanted for herself but maybe if she just did it a few years extra what would it hurt. Thinking to herself what is wrong with you! Putting on her Uggs she headed out the door and met James outside. hey lets get this over with James Im only going just to see what its all about I dont want any pressure from you do you understand? * they walked down the street and headed towards the park.* Yes I understand but you have to have an open mind A and not let that rug you call a boyfriend pressure you either . * she stopped and looked at him* First of all he is not a rug you ass and second he has never pressured me in anyway. Killing another is just wrong I dont even know why Im doing this. * he touched her arm and looked at her.* your doing this the same reason I did to stay alive and in my eyes you do what ever needs to be done to survive. * they started walking again and found a group of people that James had known since he was young. Introducing her to them all they sat and discussed a few things before heading down to the pier . The pier was where a lot of crime and criminals were and that was who they targeted, her heart pounded as they made their way towards a group of people . One of the guys grabbed a human and dragged him into the ally, the human never had time to scream and he was on his neck ripping it open causing Im to drain quicker. Alastrina knew on instinct when the soul was sucked in she could see the change in the apollites face,body everything seemed to come alive around him. He dropped the human and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and smiled wide at her.* see nothing to it. Horrified Alastrina took off down the street with James yelling for her. She would not stop till she reached her house there she would make sense of it all that was if she could.
