Albany played an important role in the Anzac story, being the muster point for ships carrying troops to war. In fact, Albany was the last sight of Australian soil for many of the troops. Tourism WA believe Albany is a hidden gem of WA’s South-West and not only offers history but untouched beaches, natural wildlife and recreational activities for everyone.
