Albay PPO Mascot “SPO1 Albayano” When we say mascot, we always think about Jollibee or McDonalds…well if you think that only fast foods have, then you are wrong. Albay Police Provincial Office, through the concerted effort of PSSUPT MARLO SANCHEZ MENESES, Officer-in-Charge has conceptualized the idea of creating a mascot. The official Mascot of Albay PNP was named “SPO1 Albayano”. The mascot embodies to represents the image of Albay PNP, in accordance with its mission, vision and core values. He is an adorable mascot which is designed to be loved by everyone, not only the kids but the young at heart as well. He is kind, friendly, courteous, and can always be count on. He is always ready to help the community in times of needs. For the promotion of this mascot, this will appear in all the outreach programs of the PNP especially in the Police Community Relation. He will assist to give leaflets, fliers, and any safety tips for the community. Having a mascot, indeed help a lot in gaining the support and thrust of the Albayano. PSSUPT MARLO SANCHEZ MENESES conceptualized “SPO1 Albayano” to inculcate among the Albayanos that PNP organization will not just to serve and protect but to provide entertainment to the people, to help the community and give hope to everybody as well.
