Albert Louis DAMMOUSE (1848 ; 1926) Albert Louis Dammouse is a sculptor, decorator, French ceramist born in Paris in 1848 and died in Sèvres (Hauts-de-Seine) in 1926. Ceramic decorator, son of the sculptor Pierre-Adolphe Dammouse, he worked as the latter at Sevres. He was first trained in the workshop of François Jouffroy where he had made sculptures for the Louvre. His brother Edward Alexander is a painter and decorator of ceramics. From 1863 to 1868 he studied at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. In 1868 he entered the Beaux-Arts. From 1868 to 1870, he collaborated with Marc-Louis Solon said Miles.
