Album Review - Hail Mary Mallon - Beastiary 8.5/10 Beastiary is the second album of one of the best rap duos of all time in my mind. The better known of the two, Aesop Rock, is on a lyrical level thats over what most rappers will ever achieve, now along side his weird lyrical rap brother Rob Sonic, they bring another strange awesome album of the two of them feeding off of each other and just a having a good time in a truly unique manner. Now, this 14 track album includes singles Jonathan and Kiln as well as my personal favorite song Whales (based on the back and forth and general goofy lyricism that these two bring hard for this track in particular). As with any Aesop Rock project, it comes complete with selection of beats that match the style these two bring to the table. If you happen to primarily a listener of the trap music, and you happen to listen to me and give this a try (which i truly hope you do), you may have to put on your thinking cap for what your ear holes are going to be blessed with. But i believe in you. Now I gave this a 8.5 because i may be a little biast towards Aesop, Ive been following his music for quite some time and he is by far my favorite rapper. So I know what he has brought to the table in the past, but dont let that deter you from Beastiary, this is a great album in itself. So yeah definitely go buy this album, you even get to pick between three really, really weird album covers. Its worth it. You know what, just in case you werent convinced go check out this song, https://youtube/watch?v=zQrdKtPJxI0, enjoy. Stefan
