Alchemy and Astrology cannot be separated. Great work Hari - TopicsExpress

Alchemy and Astrology cannot be separated. Great work Hari Halim Astrology and the alchemical Great Work are two very intertwined frequencies. In truth they are of one in the same essence. The continuity of time measured by stellar radiation is a consistent catalyst in the work of the alchemist. It affects the physical material used in the work as well as the mind and spirit of the worker, hence influencing the work at a gross and subtle scale. Stellar radiation takes its effect on matter at the atomic level by penetrating the electron shell of an atom and enlivening the atom with light from that stars. The alchemist works to transmute materials at the atomic level and this process works in accordance with the astrological light contained therein at the moment of the work. Time itself is a living transmutative process and the stars are our means of measuring and calculating it. Applied alchemy is a method by which it becomes possible to surpass the passive and gradual influence of time. This means that an alchemist who has transmuted his work and simultaneously become transmuted has also surpassed or is in the process of surpassing the standard limitations of time. The Dry Way of alchemy perhaps outlines this process best in its direct and fiery approach that can perform a long spanning natural process in a comparably short period of time. Nature is always performing the Great Work and the alchemist performs it alongside with her as an expression of nature capable of expediting its own healing, so that even the dry way is inevitably at work under wet circumstances that come as a result of being born as a part of nature. Timing each part of the work with mental attention allows for the maximum benefits of the work to be reaped. The process of doing this is possible because each constellation represents a process of transmutation while each planet represents the materials that are transmuted. A calcination of lead for example is at its ideal timing while Saturn is in Aries, or at an aspect with another planet that is in Aries, ideally Mars. However Saturn in Scorpio is similarly ideal as the separatory energy of Scorpio can be used to initiate the calcination process of Aries. In the case of Saturn the lengths of time are very long in between each constellation transition and as such the inclusion of cooperating aspects is often found to be necessary. The most common of these to arise will be Mercury and the Moon, as they are the most volatile of the planetary bodies measured and undergo quick transition. Mercury and the Moon also provide beneficial transmutative qualities, though the period of the lunar cycle should be calculated in accordance with the desired volatility of transmutation for the specific work being performed. Additional ideal circumstances for a calcination of lead could be the Sun in Aries, as this will help the solar radiance to vibrate into the lead during the calcination process. Lead in its unrefined form is unreceptive to stellar radiation but through heating and calcination it becomes receptive to higher light in accordance with its chemical and spiritual transmutation. Lead that is heated takes on various oxide forms and gradually becomes more chemically soluble. Lead oxides have their most common use in the production of lead glass. Glass itself is a conduit for light and demonstrates that the lead is becoming more receptive to the signatures of stellar radiation. Lead oxides are soluble in hydrochloric acid as well and solubility in a hydrogen based solution is an indication that the lead is awakening to its stellar origin, even if it is still a long way from becoming transmuted into gold. The sun and all stars are hydrogen fueled and when lead begins to become receptive of hydrogen derived photonic radiation the earliest stages of lead turning to gold are perceived, just as calcined lead oxide becomes red in color as an early indication of the Rubedo stage. The quality of the transmutation can be tested in accordance with astrological circumstances all throughout the work as the astronomical bodies are a consistent resource to be measured against. Carefully calculated leaps and bounds through time and space may be taken by the alchemist who is aware of the alchemy of astrology. harihalim/blog/
