Alchemystical ( from The Poetry Trilogy by Aaron La Lux ) Transforming iron to gold, we are Alchemist, building from the ash of the rubble, we are Alchemist, creating something new from old, we are Alchemist, creating solutions from the trouble, we are Alchemist, we are, Phoenix rising from the ashes, soaring high into the sky, Phoenix from the ashes, our emotions are the dye, that colors the fabric of our soul, from times that have long been untold, passed down from generations, a path made from intuitions, only to be diluted from TV stations, making us stupid and complacent, then numbing our intuition, and placing us in positions, we have, now found ourselves in, like a, caterpillar spins, to protect itself, then entraps itself, caught in a cocoon, of his own making, and he only breaks free, when he becomes, a butterfly, spreads his wings, and says goodbye, and our cocoon is woven, in assimilations, cartoons have stolen, our inspirations, we have been beaten, into the ground, assaulted, by assorted sounds, we have been left, with no choice, except, to use our voice, as a conduit, of change, we transform, joy from pain, growing, from the ground, into, which we were found, beat up, and torn, all but, worn, out, so we shout! And as we raise our voices, we see that we have choices, out of the growing of this concrete jungle. a rose grows in beauty and wonder, alive, and resilient, bright, and brilliant, radiant red, such a living contrast, from the gray and dead, babylonian portrait, metamorphosis, change, enormous, caterpillar, to butterfly, straight killer, to lover of life, with breath, in light, turning death, to life. We are Alchemists. The revolutions coming, the revolutions here, hope and love is running, through us more than fear. We are Alchemists. Creating the change, we wish to become, with hate there is many, with love, theres only One. We are Alchemists. Theres a method, to the madness, so yes its worth, all the sadness, of the past, this, is the future, now yes! We are Alchemists. Phoenix rising from the ashes, burning like the rising sun, Phoenix from the ashes, we will be what well become, and we will become what we wish, getting closer by the hour, we exorcise our incubus, we the people have the power, metaphoric metamorphosis, dolphin skin on a papyrus porpoise, we break out of our cocoons, and fly, free as a bird, or better yet, a butterfly... ∆aron L∆ Lux ∆ ( from The Poetry Trilogy by Aaron La Lux ) Volume 2 available 2/2/15
