Alert! Chervil fans! A before and after. Chervil in Bills arms on the day I took her home from Animal House, and Chervil the other day with sister Sugar (also an Animal House adoptee). They were supposed to be looking out the window enjoying the lovely summer day, but I caught them watching television instead! Chervil came to Animal House as an infant, starving, and crashing before my eyes. She had been found by a well-meaning lady who was completely in over her head trying to care for an infant with wacky health things happening. After several vet interventions, including a stay at the emergency clinic, and much work regulating digestion, body temperature, etc. Chervil bounced back. During this whole process Chervil and I fully connected and she became my baby officially when she was a few months old. She is the light of my life - fun, mischievous, loving, playful, and delightfully nuts. Grateful for her every day :) Chervil survived because she had great vet care, and also because the whole Animal House community rallied around her. Thank you everyone for the love you give to AH kitties who so desperately need it - and who so richly deserve it :) Your kindness creates so many happy endings!
