Alert!!!! Good late evening this is your forecaster Peter Kerdesky with the latest on the storms.... Part 1 of the storm is Moving into our area now and will start snowing a bit after midnight.... I expect a coating to 1 inch in most locations by 4:00 AM tomorrow morning. Snow will continue throughout the day on and off however most of the snow will be light. I expect School delays and cancellations. Snow accumulations tomorrow will range from 1 to 3 inches. This clipper will join forces along the coast and form a major Noreaster and blizzard for areas South East and North East of our area. We will see a break in the action tomorrow afternoon then snow should move back into our area tomorrow night into Tuesday. Total snow accumulations from part 1 and part 2 will be 5 to 10 inches in the Wyoming Valley. 6 to 12 inches in the Poconos. 4 to 7 in the Western part of PA. We will not see a blizzard here but we also need to monitor this storm very closely. A shift west can give us much more snow then what I forecasted or a shift East and we get ripped off and accumulations will be much lighter. We are doing our best to give you an accurate forecast. Kevin will be with you all night if there are any changes to the forecast. By tomorrow morning or early afternoon we will be able to lock in the amounts for you much better. Please understand we are doing our best as these models are all over the place..... Pete
