I personally volunteered at Carita Feliz a few hours every day and got to work with young children. They were very fun to work with and extremely appreciative. I am pretty sure the kids were able to teach me more spanish, without even realizing it, than I was able to teach them english. Nicaragua is a beautiful country and I could not think of a better program to showcase it. Lorenzo E. Arévalo and Irene Arevalo made my short time in Nicaragua unforgettable and I am forever thankful.
