My first sailing experience was Coronation Day when they threw Fairhaven Lake open for free on that day and I managed to get a sailing boat - this started my love of sailing. In 1972 in Sydney, Australia, I bought a 51 classic cutter built in New Zealand in 1897, Heartsease is her name (photo attached) I have totally restored her and sailed her extensively in the South Paciific - Fiji, Tonga, Noumea, Port Vila to name a few.
