Alex, Joanne, Wayne and Wendy, does it seem to you guys that there is a core group of people who are making use of the cart (dropping off and picking up), or is it just totally random and anyone passing by? And is there anything that you think we could do differently with them? Anything to get more people sharing their produce? I was thinking for seedlings, rather than having individual pots for plants - which are quite large and a bit wastefull of potting mix - of doing trays of mixed seedlings... like a take-home pack. I was thinking of making up trays, eg lets say one could be winter brassicas with 20 mixed seedlings of caulis, broccolis and cabbages. One pack could be leafy greens, with a lettuce mix, kale and spinach. One could be mixed herbs, one flowers etc. This might then promote them sharing, for if they dont need the caulis, then it might motivate them to give to neighbours or friends??? Whaddayareckon?
