Alex Smith has not proven to me that hes a great quarterback or elite quarterback yet. To some degree, he is a victim of a rather predictable short passing system that may well have killed off his confidence to throw deep. Wilsons a great addition but he was a non factor in the second half after being a big factor in the first half with five catches and the number of big first downs down field. Also, the number one pick in the draft from last year at left tackle is not the agile athlete he should have been to be taken over every other player in college football and he allowed James Harrison to create havoc against the Chiefs passing game.... I also still have yet to see any emotion or clear leadership on the sidelines or even aggressive body language by Andy Reid and so while he is a good coach, in these crucial moments when emotion and fearlessness are important under great pressure, his face is squarely buried in the play calling sheet, and once again especially in the close game when you are behind, those things can help. This is not about him changing his style or his stripes, if you will, it is about him leading with some minimal level of emotion especially on the road--- football is the most emotion based game as well as it being a strategic game. Andy Reid is clearly lacking in that department even as he seems to be a good coach in terms of loyalty to his players to be a champion do you have to be aggressive and have the killer instinct and I dont see that.
