Alexander Black House & Cultural Center Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting “Blacksburg’s Living Room” The Alexander Black House & Cultural Center will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, August 6th, at 10 a.m. on the lawn of the region’s new cultural center located at 204 Draper Road SW. (Regular business hours are Tuesday – Saturday, 10am – 4pm) Beginning Friday, August 1st, events will take place throughout the month and provide unique opportunities for everyone to experience the Alexander Black House: • Aug 1 & 2 - Step into the Alexander Black House & Cultural Center during Steppin Out! • Aug. 6 - Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening: Ribbon Cutting 10am.
