Alexander Payne is a loveable director. Its hard to dislike films such as About Schmidt, Sideways or even the most recent and less convincing The Descendants. This year he gave us Nebraska and, again, taught us how to laugh while watching whats actually quite a melancholic story. This black-and-white tale shows another face of America - not the glamorous Hollywood or the vibrant New York, but a country of lonely and meaningless existences. Its one of Hélder Bejas Top 10 Films of The Year and it reminds him a lot of David Lynchs The Straight Story. Check the trailer! #MacauCloserBestof2014
