Algeria final update: Algeria worked out great The audition turned out well and the final choice on stage with me were two very cool and competent algerian musicians lotfi medjdouba on bass and abdelkarim mechaar on drums At the end of the gig i jammed with the gnawa/diwane group Sidi Bel-Abbès. It was so intense that the power generator blew! I insisted on going to algeria because i didnt want to disappoint my algerian fans but also to prove to the keziah jones musicians and technical crew who refused to come that all their fears(induced by CNN and BBC reporting on the region)were unfounded. I had a great time and i was given a very warm welcome and of course i smashed the gig! Peace to my people in algiers and to the whole region.There must be justice for all and not only justice for some because if there is no justice there is no peace.this is the fundermental law that has governed all human interactions since the beginning of time.jnz
