Alhamdulilah means all thanks & praise is for Allah. If a muslim understands alhamdulilah, just this first word of the Quran, he will *never* be depressed. Many of us use alhamdulilah without understanding what it really means. When people ask us how were doing, And if were going through hard times, we say .. its really a bad time for me, but alhamdulilah anyway... This is not meaning or understanding alhamdulilah. Those who truly mean alhamdulilah, when times are hard, they believe that if one thing is going wrong, there are ten things that are going right. If theres a financial crisis, youre still healthy and have a roof above your head. If youre sick, you still have the ability to walk and talk. If youve lost someone you love, you still have other people you love beside you- alive & healthy. This is the meaning of alhamdulilah. Its being deeply grateful from the bottom of your heart for whatever you do have, for whatever is going right, as opposed to complaining about what you dont have or being unhappy with whatever is going wrong. We complain, complain and complain. We dont realize that all we have to do is say alhamdulilah and turn towards Allah, and He will fix everything. A person who believes in alhamdulilah is Always Positive! A true Muslim is always positive. ♡
