Alhamdulillah, another weekend passed with Brothers from Manchester coming out to tell people about Islam. The Dawah tables were set up in different places including: - Market Street (Arndale) - Chorlton - Hulme - Hyde - Leigh (the Levenshulme team travelling to support the team there Check out the pictures of different teams below! With the grace of Almighty Allah, there were many interesting conversation that took place along with two Shahadah’s! Alhamdulillah, one revert tells us he has been looking into Islam and when he saw our table passing by, he decided he had to stop and speak to us about Islam. Unfortunately, he told us he has spoken to Muslims before and did not receive the support he was looking for although he was determined to know more about Islam. Despite being a former atheist, he can now see that the world he sees around him could not be from random chance and there must be something behind it. He recognises our Creator would not have created us without a purpose. He has not yet read the Qur’an but is intrigued by it and keen to learn more. He is very interested in the idea of an eternal life of pleasure which Almighty Allah is offering the believers and a world without council tax! After taking his Shahada with us, he asked, “Why are you guys standing out here doing what you are doing?” We then asked him what he would do if he was told to enter the Hell fire for not living as a Muslim. He confessed he would blame us Muslims for not telling him about Islam. This shows us the importance of telling people about Islam for ourselves first and foremost, as a minimum giving Dawah will allow us to fulfil an obligation InshaAllah. Seeing one of the Dawah tables, this particular Brother took this as a sign to accept Islam and to persist with his interest in Islam. By having a presence in our local areas, InshaAllah many that are looking for guidance, spirituality and answers can come into the fold of Islam taking the message we deliver as a sign from their Creator. We humbly request you to make Dua for this particular Brother along with all other reverts. May Almighty Allah keep him and all of us steadfast on His deen, Ameen.
