Alhamdulillah, we are back home after a hectic week at Rural Development Academy, Bogra, where, we turned the two villages of Maria and Boraidaho as our second home, talked to the villagers and saw all the great initiatives they have been taking to change their lot. Two cultural events solely performed by our students at Bogra Cantt and at RDA were astounding! Amazing to see them performing with great confidence. Some of them regained confidence as great players in football, badminton, table tennis, carom and even in ludu! Their last day turned into taking notes of scientific name and origin of the trees, herbal medicine gardens, bio-gas plants, solar power plants and sayings of Khona. Most importantly, they developed a fellow feeling among themselves in an isolated island like RDA and I am happy that they are not cursing me for continuously chasing them to maintain punctuality and discipline. Thanks to our DDS Chair and VCs contribution in making this study tour possible.
