Ali Crowell a few seconds ago . a guy with a wonky eye told me last night that the perfect state of mind is like a mirror, just reflecting back. tried to tell me that you could remain emotionally distant enough that nothing can hurt you. that we suffer from our own choosing. I could tell he only half understood what he was saying, all I could think about is when I was a kid and I would get so mad that when I started to calm down it would piss me off more, started thinking about how pain can feel real good, and maybe I am too emotionally distant. maybe its supposed to bleed when you get cut. maybe your supposed to be emotionally attached to everything. do as thou wilt shall be the hole of law, love is the law, love under will. means to experience life with love in your heart. Crowley used to do the most disgusting things like sleep with the most ugly fat and old women just to engage his dark side. another quote I hold so dear is " the number one aim in human existence is to know thy self" would not the negative be part of man be as necessary? and perhaps its the discipline of understanding and controlling your mind and body is the spirit given duty.
