Aliana woke up crying tonight, so after a few minutes of not settling back down I went to check on her. I kissed her & tucked her back in and left her room. She immediately starts screaming. I go back in her room & tell her everything is okay. She then says through her tears, mommy lay down with me.. She has never asked me this before. So I lay down beside her in her tiny little toddler bed and she scoots herself all the way over so her body is right next to me, rests her head on my forehead and closes her eyes. I could not help but start to cry. These are the moments that have already and continue to change my life & make me a better woman. To know that all she wanted & needed was comfort from me meant more to me than I could ever imagine. I have found my purpose in life & I will always strive to be the best mother I can be. This is what it is all about ❤️
