Aliyah to the Golan - Off the Grid My wife and I are looking to make aliyah in the north; preferably the Golan (Katzrin). We will be taking a pilot trip early next year with aliyah, hopefully, to follow shortly thereafter. I am an intelligence analyst, artist and part-time small farmer. While I can not speak authoritatively about the legal aspects of off-the-grid living in Israel my wife and I have powered our remote home for some years with solar panels and small wind generator.
