All - the New Year doth approach! I dont generally set resolutions, but goals. I look at the New Year as a chance to wipe the slate clean. In life - we all meet with bumps in the road, and those bumps are -- more often than not -- people! My advice to everyone is.... If you have those hanger-ons -- or if YOURE a hanger-on -- set yourself free! We encounter people on that grand journey....people that feel every bit as tempting and weighty as the One Ring in Tolkiens Lord of the Rings. Its in all of us to toss that ring into Mount Doom and move on! If youve been waiting a while for that special person youve long been interested in to find the time to connect with you, or spend some time with you -- or just to NOTICE you -- and they continue to find excuses or avoid you, then its time to toss them and their memory to the wind and MOVE ON! It just wasnt meant to be, and heck - in the greater scheme of things, they probably werent right for you -- either as a friend, or something more. Widen this approach to all things in your path - career, acquaintances etc. Theres something better waiting for you after the haze of falseness clears......
