All D7 schools will operate on a two-hour delay Thursday, Jan 8, due to cold weather advisories for the Upstate. With temperatures and wind chills expected to be in the single digits, the delay is a safety precaution being enforced by all Spartanburg County School Districts. The two-hour delay will ensure students who walk or ride the bus are not exposed to dangerous temperatures, and our schools buses and buildings are operable and fully heated. We encourage parents to dress their children appropriately for the weather. As part of the district’s policy on Cold Weather Advisory Guidelines recess and physical activity classes will be held indoors.
