All Dominicans, of Haitian descent born after 1929 , have been striped of thier Dominican citizenship by the Supreme court of the Dominican Republic. This ruling leaves millions of Dominicans living on the Island open to immediate deportation and places in question the status of dominicans living in the United states, as they are no longer citizens of any country. I say this to point out that although the US immigration system is not perfect, it is sooo much better than the flat out racist policies of most of the nations whose citizens are baning down the doors to get in.
