All, I have Received a reply from the Forestry commission regarding motorbikes using the forest trials. Hi Darren Thank you for your email. The photos you sent are very useful for help identifying motorbikes in the forest. The police are interested in trailbikes with registration plates or vehicles that are being used to transport unplated bikes to site. If you can obtain images of these vehicles or bikes please pass them on. The police have a policy of confiscating and destroying bikes that access land illegally. We will be stepping up patrols this year in an effort to catch the culprits in the act, but it is also vital that you and your fellow cyclists continue to monitor the situation for us and report plates so we can trace bikes to owners. Your assistance really is appreciated, but please do not put yourself in any potentially confrontational situation as taking photos can instill an aggressive response in others.
