All India First J-K Friendship T20 Cricket C’ship from Aug 25 STATE TIMES NEWS DODA: The Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda is going to conduct All India First Jammu Kashmir Friendship T20 Cricket Championship for peace, Patron YSCC Doda, Manzoor Ahmed Batt told reporters. He said that after successful conduct of ninth national level cricket events, the club is now conducting All India First Jammu Kashmir Friendship T20 Cricket Championship from 25th August at Jammu University Campus. He further informed that in this coming tournament, teams from fifteen states of the country including Kerala, Tamilnadu, Chennai, Chattisgarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Madhya Pardesh, UP, Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat, besides teams from Jammu and Kashmir are participating. Batt further said that aim and objective of this tournament is to spread the message of peace, communal harmony, mutual understanding through cricket and give opportunity to outside cricketers and their families to see Jammu and Kashmir State. Batt also said this tournament obviously is to give wide scope of our cherished goal of amity and understanding and to remove the haze of regional and communal prejudice. He hoped that people of the State will also provide full support for organising forthcoming tournament.
