All Ireland Hurling Final Preview Sunday, 8th of September, 3.30, Croke Park Cork v Clare Referee- Brian Gavin, Offaly So the old foes meet in what should be a cracking final. Clare had a convincing win the relegation league match. However, championship hurling is a whole different ball game. Its the battle of Clare legend Davy Fitz and Cork legend JBM. Who will come out on top? Personally, I think its going to be a game which is quite open, which will be good for us neutrals and the 82,000 + that will be in Croker Sunday. Both of the teams bring youth and pace. Cork with the influential midfield pairing of Lorcan McLoghlin and Daniel Kearney and Clare with Colm Galvin and Tony Kelly pulling the strings. Of course, all eyes will be on both sets of forwards with the two most impressive forwards this year lining out Podge Collins for Clare and Pat Horgan for Cork. The key area is the middle and whatever teams wins most ball there and send it in to there full forward line will win the game. Could be a good 2 weeks for the Banner boys, as the u21 team are out a week later in the u21 final again Antrim. However, I feel Cork have more experience when it comes to big matches down threw the years. If Cork were playing Kilkenny Sunday they wouldnt fear them. I see this been a factor also so therefore, Cork to prevail by 3-4 points Verdict: Cork
