All Is Not Well With Us, Nigerians. It was alleged that President Jonathan did the most shocking, when he defied common sense and attended a dancing (whatever they called the dancing style) rally to welcome Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau into the PDP, just a day after the Nyanya bomb blast that killed scores. He was also alleged to have done something similar after the abduction of the Chibok Girls. For these and many more reasons, he was dubbed by many as Clueless, Insensitive and Wicked. Now lets do some self-assessment. Where were we, and what were we busy doing on Social Media when the bomb that rocked the Kano central mosque went off? Again, what activities caught our attention, when the two female suicide bombers detonated their bombs and shredded human beings into particles in a major market in Kano? Again, what was it that engaged us on the social media, when yet another bomb pierced a busy area in Jos, killing and maiming scores? I believe by this time, the sensitive ones amongst us must have guessed right, Yes, we were busy with the politics and the politicking in the country. It was all about who emerges as the flag bearer of the APC at the primaries and how PDP adopted their sole candidate at their own primaries. It was a fields day for many when General Muhammad Buhari emerged the winner. It was, and its still analysis upon fault finding on the excellences and shortcomings of each partys candidate etc. All these were happening and are still happening while the affected families were and are still left alone in the cold to pack the pieces of their massacred family members and/friends. And yet, the only clueless, insensitive and wicked person in Nigeria is Mr. President?
