Friday, November 21, 2014; 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM - Help us Kick off America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration (AHTC) and Illuminate 2014 with an evening festival of lights, food, free shows and music held in Plymouth’s shops, cafes, parks, and street corners Thanksgiving Street Festival will transform Plymouth’s Downtown into a roving stage for an international cast of amazing street artists – from jugglers, acrobats, and re-enactors to mimes, face-painters, and magicians. The Nov. 21 festival celebrates diversity among cultures and is a great place for individuals, bands, organizations and performance groups to participate in an evening of street performances, displays and demonstrations. At this free event, people are invited to show the Plymouth community what makes their countries and cultures unique. The event is expected to draw hundreds of residents and people from out of town to the streets of Plymouth and will be growing every year. All we ask is that you try to immerse yourself in the culture and pulse of the street, and think of innovative ways to involve shoppers to create glowing memories...
