All Praises and Adorations are due to Almighty Allah (SWT) alone. The Cherisher and the Sustainer of the whole Universe. I testify that He(Allah) is one and has no partner, and there is no other god worth of worship except Allah. Also Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was His apostle, the seal of the prophets and the frontier of the messengers. We seek His(Allah) abundant blessings and peace on the noble soul of Prophet(SAW) his households, companions and the assemblage of muslim till the day of recompense. Honoured bro&sis in Islam, this segment will insha Allah centred on the topic: birtday islamic view Birthday simply means the day we were giving birth to. Tracing it back to Islam, it either means bad or sad day. A sad one indeed. I have my reasons below; No responsible muslim can ever disput it that, its a day in which you should remember the day you were born, the pain your mother received on this day. But nowadays, its otherwise. Firstly, Before celebrating it, why dont you go to your mother and ask her about your birth? I assured you, you heard alot from her in which if they are well reflected on, you will realised that you are not the type who should celebrates birthday. you should rather crys for the rest of ur live. But, you will never do such. From what i know and have heard from people is that women recieves pain & agony during the time of delivery. Some gives birth and died. Some even gives birth and fainted, some even gives birth through surgrical operation. Then why should you happy? Secondly, this day should remind you your days on this surface of the earth are limited. People celebrate birthday and dies on that same day or the next day. So what profit do u earn from that. But we neva think to that extent. Thirdly, it has no source in our religion. It has no backup from the Quran and the sunnah. Islam gave zero tolerrance to this act. You even engage in wastage of resources that leads to severe punishment from Allah(SWT). Also, its the ideology of the west. These people stuggle day and night to bring down Islam. they never want Islam to progress. Is it our joy to witness the falling of Islam? We have alot of problems cantering Islam, is celebrating the next thing?(astaghfirullah) bro&sis, lets sit and think wisely. The Apostle of Allah (pbuh) once said in one of his traditions that: whoever imitate a set of people is surely part of them. So bro&sis, we should at this juncture be convinced that, birthday is not part of our Deen. In addition, it means you are a year closer to your grave. Can you see that? And it(birthday) leads to no other place but hellfire. Coz, its the footpath of shaytan (LA). We should rather move closer to Allah on this particular day, think about our past.the present and the future. Because it might be our last chance. May Allah make it easy for us to comprehend, reflect on and practicalise. May He overview our shortcomings and admit all our rightful deeds as an act of worship and finally make us images of Al jannatul firdaws. Ameen. Was salam alaykum...
