The wind howled lightly, making a flurry of leaves dance around my ankles, I looked down and took a small step. My throat felt dry, aching, I wanted to get away. I wanted to turn back, I wanted to leave this place all over again. Yet I needed to walk forward, go ahead, finally set this right. I took a step forward, a small painful step forward, and took another dreadfully long step, and another fragile step, and soon I was walking at a decent pace, but it felt too slow, too painful to drag this out, and with that attitude I was running, running back in the town I ran away from, back to the place of which I came, back........home.
