All Saints Episcopal Church, located in the Ravenswood - TopicsExpress

All Saints Episcopal Church, located in the Ravenswood neighborhood, is believed to be the oldest frame church in Chicago. The 1884 Stick style building was designed by John Crombie Cochran with Healey and Millet art glass windows. In an attempt to modernize, the building was coated with stucco in 1905. The congregation is in the process of removing the stucco and uncovering the original woodwork and has used a Landmarks Illinois’ Preservation Heritage Fund Grant, awarded earlier this year, to complete the north elevation. The congregation began a capital campaign in 2013 – the 1883 Project. They have raised $1.2 million dollars for the building’s restoration.
