All-State honors. All-Tournament honors. Karlie Taylor has accomplished a lot in her prep volleyball career. And shes still got one more year to go, which might be the scariest part for the rest of the state to consider. Taylor capped her junior season off by being named to the first team of the Class 2A Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-State volleyball team on Wednesday. Once again the top attacker on an EBF team that qualified for state, Taylor finished with the third-most kills in 2A (439) and was again one of the top hitters in the state tournament after averaging a 2A tournament-best 5.4 kills as the Rockets lost a tough five-set match against Unity Christian in the state quarterfinals.
