All TAPP students, I am posting the new dress code. You have to wear the colors of your zone school. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) (Concerning appropriate dress attire for the 2013-2014 school year – Jackson County Schools– Grades 6 – 12) 1. Can students wear cargo-style shorts? YES – they must extend to the knee 2. Can students wear plain blue denim jean skirts, capris, shorts? YES –they must extend to the knee 3. Is there a “new” policy for shoes? NO-the regular school policy will be followed (check school’s handbook) 4. What type belts can be worn? Plain black or brown belts can be worn. 5. Are commercial logos/emblems allowed on shirts? YES-only small (no larger than size of debit/credit card) manufactured emblems will be allowed 6. Can shirts have student’s initials embroidered? NO 7. Are school name/logo shirts allowed? YES- they must be appropriate school color and style. Name/logo must be no larger than size of debit/credit card) 8. Are other colored jeans (other than blue denim) like pink, red, green -allowed? NO – only blue denim 9. Are Elementary students required to follow this dress code? NO – only grades 6 – 12 (However, other students may follow the dress code if they wish) 10. Can long sleeve, button-down, collared shirts be worn? This option was not board approved 11. Other than the standard color -white shirts – what are the other 2 colors allowed at each school? Marianna High – Purple and Black Malone School – Navy Blue and Orange Sneads High – Navy Blue and Gold/yellow Graceville High – Black and Orange Cotondale High – Royal Blue and Orange Grand Ridge – Royal Blue and Black Marianna Middle – Purple and Black
