All: The Red Hill Water Towers Issue is very much related to Kovs Four Season project and applications currently under review to rezone transition land throughout the county. We need to fiercely oppose these towers. Its like giving developers a license to build. We dont want to be reactive anymore. On the contrary, we as voters and tax payers should be able to help drive what is being built, why its needed and how it will impact our home investment and daily lives. Please see Loudoun Waters new virtual image of the proposed 189 water towers at the Red Hill site, attached. Each tower is 189 tall with a capacity of 1 million gallons, EACH. Words cannot convey how ridiculous the placement is of these water towers. Elevated water storage DOES NOT belong in this Rural Zone, essentially in all of our Backyards. Tomorrow night, the Board of Supervisors is holding a public hearing and Senator Black himself is coming to talk about why these towers should not be built off Red Hill Road. If youre able to make it tomorrow, please wear Red. The hearing begins at 6pm and this issue is # 17 on the agenda. If you cant make it, please cut/paste/send the following template to the Board of Supervisors showing your opposition.
