All aboard for the Freshfields Abseil Adventure 2015! What a day it was for us last August. 23 fantastic people took part in a Charity Abseil off the top of Liverpool Cathedral, raising £8,000 for Freshfields Animal Rescue. Were delighted to announce that we have a date for the Charity Abseil Event 2015. Saturday August 8th is the date for your diaires. Our slot is expected to be from 2pm - 4pm. Were planning to make this an even bigger success this time around. It will be a family fun day with attractions for everyone. The theme this year is Grease. You can leap from the top dressed in your John Travolta leather jacket singing Youre the One that I want....ooh ooh ooh, Honey! You know, youve always wanted to do that. Or dress up as the Pink Ladies. (Young people: ask someone twice your age what were talking about). To start the ball rolling, get your sponsor form and information or just have an informal discussion, contact Jan on 07983 160479 or email [email protected]. We have 40 places to fill at time of going to press, so plenty of time to get a few friends together and do it as a team. There is a deposit to pay, which will be around £55 (to be confirmed by the organisers). Usually participants do not have to pay it at all, as it comes out of the sponsorship money you will raise.
