All cars are impounded from the public. Unfortunately we don’t know the history and we don’t know what problems the vehicles may have. We only want to do is sell the vehicles to recoup the fees that are owed against them. We are not a dealer so were not insured to have customers test drive any vehicles. You are welcome to start the vehicles and move them back and forth and check them out thoroughly. We don’t test them, check them out, drive them, or do any work on them. We sell them as is. So it is hard for us to explain if the car is a “good car” or if its “dependable car” or a “good commuter car” when we know nothing about the vehicle other than they start and run. Please understand that what we think might be a “good car” or a “clean car” might be a bad car or dirty car to you so please come check for yourself. I know sometimes it’s not worth your time or too far to take a chance but you will never know unless you come check them out for yourself. You’re welcome to bring a mechanic, friends, family member, or whomever you would like to help you check out the cars. Also keep in mind you are responsible for the smog compliance and all back registration so make sure to ask when the registration expires. I hope this helps out with some of your questions. THANKS
