Sharing the same belief as Dr Greenspan, I did not give up hope even after I was told that Janet (my younger daughter) is intellectually disabled. With the knowledge gained through my practice, Janet began reading and writing at age 16 and started her little home business in 2011. Now she bakes cookies and sells her acrylic paintings through Facebook. At the end of each year, a selection of her paintings are available for sale in Desktop Calendar format. You can order any quantity you like and have them personalized with your name (or company name) on it. We do overseas shipping and the calendar contains national holidays in Australia, Malaysia, UK and US so it is a perfect year-end gift for friends and relatives locally and abroad :-)
