All during my Fundamental years, I was thankful for Salvation — better known to me as Forgiveness and a Get-out-of-Hell Gratis Card. After being saved, I broke everything up into badges, like a cub scout achievement award, always rededicating and striving to achieve the next level. Upon stumbling (by the Holy Spirit and the Old Catholics) towards the ancient faith — Orthodoxy, I began to unlearn my Western religious definitions of salvation, grace, works, justification, righteousness, etc. and began a participation with a conciliar, relational, inter-related understanding of the faith in which salvation and sanctification are understood more as a healing and restorative process of the uncreated energies of God.
