All good reasons to add potatoes to your diet. For added nutritional value swap white potatoes for sweet potatoes. They have a much higher antioxidant content; beta-carotene, vitamin C, pro-vitamin E and contain substances such as, anthocyanins and sporamins, which have been shown in studies to prevent weight gain and protect against cancerous cell growth. Furthermore, they have a lower GI than white potatoes thus keeping blood sugars stable and hunger at bay!
