All interested service providers are hereby invited to register on the database of Nkonkobe Municipality. In order to comply with the procedures set out in the Municipal Finance Management Act No. 56 of 2003, the Municipality developed a supplier database to be used by the Supply Chain Management Unit for the 2013/2014 financial year. The purpose of this database is to give all prospective suppliers an equal opportunity to submit quotations to the Municipality. Certified copies of the following documents must be attached to the application form: a) A concise company profile ; b) Company Certificate or Shareholder(s) register; c) Tax Clearance Certificate (original); d) Income Tax Certificate e) VAT registration certificate (for VAT vendors only) f) ID Copies for all members/partners/directors; g) Bank letter confirming the company’s banking details; h) Proof of Business Address (e.g. lease agreement/municipal statement/letter from ward councilor) i) BBBEE certificate Please take note that service providers whose directors and members are in the service of the state will not be considered. Registration forms are available at Nkonkobe Municipality Offices in Fort Beaufort. Any prospective provider whose name appears on the National Treasury’s database as a person prohibited from doing business with the public sector will not be accepted.
