All is not well at Monomotapa with reports of player unrest at the club. The captain Kuda Musharu and two other key players have been suspended by their club following the labour unrest that rocked their camp ahead of their last game against Harare City. Monomotapa will take on Motor Action this afternoon. The club’s executive handed letters of suspension to Musharu, defender Morgan Mungombe and the club’s top goal scorer Ishmael Lawe who are being investigated for the for their roles in last week’s strike. Monomotapa players boycotted training on Tuesday and Wednesday as the club was preparing for the league match against Harare City, which they lost 3-1 at Rufaro on Thursday. Assistant coach Nkululeko Dhlamini yesterday confirmed all was not well in the camp but insisted that Monoz are aiming to put their problems behind them as they seek a turn- around of fortunes on the field of play. Dhlamini however said they will have to do without their inspirational skipper while Lawe who has banged in six goals this season will also be missed. “I have been advised by the chairman that there are three players who have been handed letters of suspension while investigations are going on for the labour unrest that hit the club last week. “It means these guys will not be available for selection and we will have to do with the material that we have. It’s bad we are coming from a defeat in our last match but still we are looking forward to the next game. “It’s important that we collect maximum point in this match because if you look at the log table our position is not that good,” said Dhlamini. Monomotapa however, still have players like Obey Mwerahari, Zvikomborero Bizeki, Charles Rukwanhi, and their talisman Ronald Chitiyo available for selection
