All it takes is just to be kind and polite. A simple hello can save a life. Juan worked at a meat distribution factory. One day, when he finished with his work schedule, he went into the meat cold room (Freezer) to inspect something, but in a moment of bad luck, the door closed & he was locked inside with no help in sight. Although he screamed & knocked with all his might, his cries went unheard as no one could hear him. Most of the workers had already gone, & outside the cold room its impossible to hear what was going on inside. Five hours later, whilst Juan was on the verge of death, the security guard of the factory,eventually openeD the door & saved the life of Juan. Juan then asked the security guard how he knew to open the door, as it wasnt part of his work routine. His explanation: Ive been working in this factory for 35 years, hundreds of workers come in & out every day, but ure one of the few who greets me in the morning & says goodbye to me every night when leaving. Many treat me as if I am invisible. Today, like every other day, u greeted me in ur simple manner Hello at the entrance when resuming for work......But strangely, after working hours today,I observed Ive not heard ur bye! see you tomorrow . Hence I decided to check around the factory. I really look forward to ur Hi & bye every day. To u, I am someone. By not hearing ur farewell, I knew something had happened. Then I sought & found u! Moral Lesson to reflect upon:.. Be humble. Love & respect those around u regardless of who they are & which position they are.U dont know who can/will help u,as life is too short & even our luvd ones come & go! Nobody has any STATUS in the sight of Allαh except those thAt have piety. ∕̴Ɩ simple greeting & a warm smile has a great impact on people in ways u cant even imagine & the best part iS that itS a Sunnat of our Nabi Kareem sallallaahu alayhI wasallam.
