All morning I have been at a loss for words. My emotions have been too confused to express. And I almost felt like accepting that the pain of losing our brothers was just too much to explain and Id sit and cry silently. But I cant. I cannot be silent at this time, because the rest of the world is silent. And I would love to believe that they are silent for the same reason Ive been, but I dont. I have lost a part of my People and I believe a part of myself was lost with it. When those monsters murdered these three boys, they murdered a part of every single Jew. And this makes them happy. This is not a war between two nations trying to capture new territories. This is a war against a sickness; an ideology that praises the infliction of pain upon others. An ideology that justifies the kidnapping and murder of innocents. An ideology that negates the value of human life. And it is for this reason that we cannot achieve peace. Because these creatures would sooner cut our hand off, than shake it. And people need to know this. I cannot be silent because by raising my voice, I may empower someone else to do the same. And that person may empower another. And then, maybe, through our collective effort, we may influence a change. I hope the voice of my prayers join the thousands of others, and that our Father in Heaven see it fit to finally remove our pain and suffering. HaShem Yikom Domom.
