All of Joshuas success was promised and guaranteed IF. There was a condition for Joshua to have success and that same condition applies to us today. God has an assignment for you and me, and I believe its huge, much bigger than we can handle. There is a territory that we must conquer in order to possess it. This territory is promised, but its in enemy hands and it must be taken by force. Jehovah gave Joshua the master key to successfully taking the promised land: This book of instruction must not depart from you mouth; you are to recite it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. This instruction was the master key for Joshua to claim what was promised to him and Israel by Jehovah. (Joshua 1:8-9) The sword was not the key. Their personal strength was not the key. There human ability to plan and reason was not the key. The key was meditating upon and speaking forth the word of God! Through meditation and speaking Gods word got into their heart. Once there, it could be lived out without human effort. What land is promised to you by God? What territory are you destined to conquer? Whatever it is, its big! Its huge, and its probably scary. But it is awesome, Im sure, and it is waiting for you. Every promise of God in Christ is YES and its our responsibility to respond with an AMEN. After the Amen we need to take action to possess our inheritance. We do this by faith in Gods word. Consider this today. Ponder on the promises of God and prepare for battle.
