All of NB continues to be under an EXTREME COLD WARNING, including Saint John. However, Saint John, Moncton and Fundy National Park have Snowfall warnings in effect for tomorrow. Evidently Kings County is not expecting quite a much snow. I find this interesting. If you look at the images of the clipper moving through, Montreal and parts of Ontario are suppose to get the worst of the snow with NB getting only about 8 cm. Also, I find it interesting that Digby, NS does not have a snowfall warning posted if Saint John does, especially if Kings County doesnt. I cannot imagine a storm system that narrow, that EC could predict with that kind of accuracy 24 hours ahead. But, keep in mind I am not a meteorologist. I am simply posting my thoughts as I track this clipper. The images are NOT from Environment Canada. They are AccuWeathers. I find that site more accurate than EC most of the time. In fact, for this clipper, EC has up to 15 cm of snow predicted for Kings County and 20 cm for Saint John. That is double for what AccuWeather is predicting. Then, there is the Weather Network, which is calling or only 10 cm of snow for Saint John with a high of +3. EC is calling for a high of only +1. So folks tomorrow, like Forest Gump might say, Is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get! until you wake up. LOL Well we will try to do a little better than that. As we track this system, some things might become clearer. AccuWeather, for the most part is a US site and since this clipper does not affect any of the large centers in a big way, perhaps they have not put as much detail and time into their forecast. One thing for sure, tomorrow brings us a snowy windy day. Currently there are no travel advisories posted for NB. I have posted a lot of images. To view them all, you will likely have to click on one and scroll through. They wont all show on the preview.
