All of the hard work and efforts going into DCUtvs 24 hour Broadcast are for a very important reason. This is Niamh Ní Ruarí, a member of our society who suffers from a condition called Histiocytosis, a rare and relatively unknown condition in Ireland, receiving little or no funding into researching a cure. DCU students are working together to help raise awareness and funds that will help Niamh find a cure for this devastating condition. We are doing this with the HR Trust, a UK based organisation that supports Niamh and others suffering to help them find some answers. It would be really appreciated if as many people as possible could take a moment to look at this video, which really sums up how histocytosis affects Niamh and how we can help her this Friday & Saturday. Niamh and Mark, DCUtvs station manager have created this video to share Niamhs story.
