All of the theories, legends, and myths attempting to explain the abrupt disappearance of Atlantis, commonly known as the lost continent, have finally been put to rest by stone tablets discovered submerged in shallow waters off the coast of west Africa. According to the inscription on the tablets, Atlantis began its path to destruction when Poseidon, the God of Adventure, struck the ground with his trident, which upset Ramona, the Goddess of Humidity and Ranch Dressing, who told Dagmar, the God of Variable Rate Mortgages, who got so mad that he punched Raoul, the God of Those Little Colored Things You Sprinkle on Cupcakes, who likewise became so infuriated that he punctured Atlantis with his Swiss Army Knife, and she went right on down.
